Just wondering if anyone up north has one I could try at some point? I could offer a play on custom shop Fenders, Historic Gibsons, a Collings acoustic and Carr Rambler.
Im seriously thinking about one to complement my Rambler and haven't ever heard one in the flesh!
Mant thanks :)

That would be cool! Really love your playing too mate so would be good to jam. You might like my old 1953 Gibson arch top too :)

@koss59 - Ive just sold my LJ but it did sound glorious in stereo with the Rambler...

Mind you, the Redplate does tweed rather well ;)

@Wazmeister I was going to message you asking for advice! I'm happy with the Rambler but could do with another tone to add to the arsenal and a Lazy J seems appealing. I was thinking it'd be such a compact lightweight 2 amp rig for louder gigs too and then I'd always have a backup.

Like Wazmeister, I also owned a Rambler and a J20 at th same time. Still have the J20! Very different amps, both very good but that Lazy J sound is more me.

Thanks @Majorscale I think the lazy j might be more me too but most of my gigs are playing funky clean type parts so would probably still use the Rambler more. Wouldn't do any harm having the Lazy J for other gigs and studio work though! Does anyone know what sort of prices they go for new if ordered direct? I ideally would like one before the end of this tax year though!

I've got a J20 & a J40 in Worcester if that's any good to you? I do have a screen shot of the current/last price list somewhere, will see if I can find it...

No. Jesse is dead against any form of uncontrolled export arrangement until a single market has been established with the northerners.
