Found an amp I genuinely forgot I owned! (Matamp content)

Some years back, not long after Matamp came out with the Little Rock I bought one via Mr Morgan's eponymous guitar building company (he was putting them in custom boxes/combos for customers)

After I got a bigger amp for band use I think the Little Rock went in a cupboard and his been stuck in darkened dusty storage ever since.

During a recent clear-out it surfaced (resplendent in its red glory - this being from my "Red ones are better" (TM) days ) 

I'm going to dig out a speaker cable and plug it in to my JCM800 cab (I kept the cab when I sold the head, luckily) 


Anyone else ever use a Little Rock? 

Here's a pic of  a standard one for reference (the 6-way voice switch is fab as I recall). I'll get a pic of my red one later if anyone gives a shit lol

Sounds pretty fucking good I can tell you.

Single 6v6 power tube and through a good 2x12 it is good and loud (had the kids yelling at me lol )

Isn't that the one that had a front panel stained to match your Morgan guitar?

The whole headshell you can see is red stained flamed maple (!) and the front panel (which I broke) was a piece of Ziricote (!) - the guitar it matched was the same woods yes.

Very indulgent at the time.

Used to have the standard one a few years ago. Unfortunately had to sell and one of the of the few amps I regret selling. Comfortably loud enough at practice, through a 2x12, to play with full band. Currently considering getting another Matamp of some sort.
