Just found out that Jaki has passed away today, at the age of 78. His drumming was the cornerstone of the Can sound. Easily one of my favourite drummers of all time. Pneumonia, apparently, and doubly-sad as he was lined up for some Can 50th Anniversary gigs this spring with Thurston Moore among the list of participants. RIP Jaki.
