Reverse polarity on GigRig adapters (need "C+ to C-" but it's the other way around)

So I have an Electroman, which will give me 24v with a center positive. I'll also be buying an El Paso for 15v center positive.

I need to convert that to center negative.

All I can find is center negative to center positive converters, has anyone ever found a converter cable that does center positive to center negative? If so, send over a link, please. Thank you!

Isn't it just the same as all the cable is doing is reverse what ever polarity it's fed?

That's what I thought. Then reading some descriptions on the ones I've seen for sale, people are complaining that they don't reverse polarity...upon further research, looks like most are made to reverse center negative to center positive only...not the other way around.

Bought mine from gigrig Jon for the Effectrode. Give Joe at the gigrig a call mate.

You can just unscrew the back off the unit and reverse the wires. Be careful to mark the unit afterwards!

Use it with my C+ PROEL pedal

TIP: Leave the converter cable AND the PSU cable connected IN your pedal if off the board/disconnected. This way you won't forget when you go to plug in quickly when under pressure!

Isn't it just a case of reversing the white and black cable on your isolator (as per Gigrig isolator web page diagram warns)?

@lukedlb yep, I ordered an El Paso with that exact mod, I didn't realise they did it until I called them. Joe at TheGigRig is a top guy and very helpful in that department!

Hang on, I wasn't thinking about the adapters but rather the simple 9v connectors. Is it possible then with the adapters too? Is it simply a case of flipping the black and white cable? Or requiring the pedal plug? Maybe they just swapped yours internally?
can you confirm this experiment as I have some supanovas on the way and I'll need centre positive on my jester.

Apparently, yes, it's as simple as that, @lukedlb. They switched mine over internally on the El Paso, so mine is center negative instead of stock center positive.
