TRADED FS/FT Fargen Retro Classic 1x12 £850

Bought this from @MikeC of this parish a few months ago and I hate to admit that it's just not getting used. I've been out of a band for well over a year now and can't justify having an amp like this just sitting around.

• 25W hand wired amp with three settings: '59 (Bassman), '65 (Bluesbreaker) and '68 (Plexi)
• 12AX7 preamp/KT66 power valves, GZ34 rectifier
• Master volume, preamp volume, TMB controls and presence on the front.
• High power/Variac switch on the back which gives an earlier break up in the variac setting.
• WGS 12" Green Beret speaker which I believe is a Greenback equivalent.

I had one chance to play it at proper volumes and my god it sounded good! Unfortunately, I'm not likely to get many more chances so I've decided to move it on.

Mainly looking for a sale but will listen to trades.

I paid £850 a few months ago which was a bargain and that's what I'll be asking for.

I'm based in Harwich, Essex but travel a fair bit so delivery/meeting halfway etc is a possibility.

What's it like clean wise?

The cleans are nice on the bassman and bluesbreaker settings - I haven't played it with a band but the previous owner said it could be heard clean over a loud drummer if that helps?
the three settings are fairly subtle until you wind the volume up, I tend to flit between the BM and BB decades as they sound a little warmer to me.

I have a Lester surplus and the amp looks pretty good to me. I guess it's really whether you like the LP enough that you'd be happy to bridge the gap in value? Cash or WHY... I'm pretty open minded.

I don't have any cash to spare I'm afraid, Not sure what I've got in way of other stuff to trade tbh but I'll have a look. Is there anything in particular you're not nterested in?

Well, the only thing I can think of is my black topped '93 Gibson LP Studio with Oil City pups and Jimmy Page wiring. Valued around £550-£600.
