any good valve amp repairers in Winchester?

I sold a heavy amp to someone  there,  there's a minor fault caused by transit, could be just a valve or a pot, but  they are asking for a return & refund
I'd like to  arrange a good  quality repair  for them,  with as little inconvenience for the buyer as possible

I used to live in Winch and there were none, however the guitar shop by the station - Hayward Guitars 01962 850555  do have the numbers of people they recommend.

So it might be worth giving them a call

There's a guy I know in  Poole (just up the road from my work).

The guitar store in Southampton will 100% be able to advise you. They may even have an in house tech as they deal with everything from budget up to boutique.

They really don't come any better than Simon Law - amp tech for Robben Ford, Larry Carlton and Matt Schofield.
    He's based in rural Hampshire.

The Guitar Store in Southampton has someone who comes in 1-2 days per week. He did a decent job on my Rivera.

I also used Sutcliffe near Portsmouth.

Bloke works out his back garden shed and you have to wait your turn... so expect 12-14 weeks turnaround and not cheap either.
