Bought another drum kit.
It is a Tama Starclassic in Champagne Sparkle.
This is purely a rehearsal and gig kit- my DW is just for recording now.

Sizes are 22x18, 16x14, 12x9 and a10x8 which I won't be using.
Great sounding kit- loads of bottom end and the bass drum is loud as fuck.
Coated Emperor on the toms and a coated PS3 on the bass drum.

I've given you a Wow from Mrs Bridgehouse who is suitably impressed.. she's a big Tama fan, nearly as much as she's a Meinl fangirl..

She has Meinl Dark Classic hi-hats, a Meinl Byzance 20" Ride, and other Byzance stuff that is beyond my level of drumming understanding...

    She's happy enough tho :)

Tell her to check out the Zildjian Kerope series.
I have a full set of them and they are absolutely amazing.
The 18" crash is the best crash cymbal I've heard and you can ride on it too.
I have a 22" Kerope crash/ride that is my main ride cymbal- so dark and warm but it has such great range and texture.

Nice looking kit! Guitars are so easy to hang extra ones on the wall out of the way, but how do you find room for more drum kits?!
Always be yourself! Unless you can be Batman, in which case always be Batman.
My boss told me "dress for the job you want, not the job you have"... now I'm sat in a disciplinary meeting dressed as Batman.

    Ooooh, nice.
    What does she have?

    At the moment I've got:
    DW Collectors in Twisted White Satin: 22x18, 8x7, 10x8, 12x9, 14x14, 16x16
Tama Star Classic in Champagne Sparkle: 22x18, 10x8, 12x9, 16x14
Gretsch Renown in Deep Inca Gold Sparkle: 24x16, 13x9, 16x16

    I like my sparkles. :)

    @octatonic - you're winning :)

She's got the Tama kit and a Mapex kit at the mo - a bunch of Meinl cymbals, along with a Zyn five star vintage set and a bunch of other random cymbals.

I think the main problem is her space planning for more stuff.....
