Having recently bought a Victory V40, I'm planning to order a vertical 2x12 from Zilla.  Now the all-important question ... no, not speaker choice (*) - which colour?

(*) I already have a couple of nice drivers I plan to use.

Zilla have plenty of choices of tolex and grill cloth.  So, do you think this



would look better on top of something like



(but with a white on black logo), or



?

Dark green / basket weave maybe, hard to tell unless you can put them together of course...

I'm not a fan of the Zilla logo, I'd be deleting that.

I do have a thing for green.  You're right though, it's hard to tell from photos alone - but that's all I have to go on.

I agree about the logo too.  I think it looks *less* bad white-on-black (particularly on a lightish cloth) ... but maybe I will just remove it altogether.

Dark green, white piping and the light close weave cloth for me.

I'd go a black with basket weave.

Probably a little predictable for me...but I would go white with black pipping and corners. Either black grill cloth or vintage hiwatt black

I was torn between a Daphne Blue style or the Surf Green.

I just like the pastel style colours because I'm bored of seeing black or white and wanted something different.

I do have Red Snakeskin aswell.

I'm with you on black and white cabs - part of the appeal of buying from Zilla is the opportunity to customise and do something a bit different.

Perhaps with the top and bottom panels in ivory:

Yes that's the colour.

I think it would good with SnP or basket grill.

Here's the only pic I could find of Baby Blue on an actual Zilla cab.

I think I'd prefer the SnP grill, with black piping and black hardware, but the white is quite smart.

I'm pretty much sold on the Baby Blue tolex, but not so much on either basketweave or SnP.  Instead I'm wondering about going with
