H&K Puretone combo

So I had this up for trade, but after a loud run through at band praccy last night it`s had a stay of execution..............

One question to those that have experience of this amp:

The guitar lead plugged into the amp input was fairly warm after use - seems the input is directly above the power valves. Do these amps typically run quite hot? Any issues with that?

I've never noticed but I have a head not a combo. I'm not clever enough to know if that makes a difference.

They do run really hot, I had the head version and during last summers gigs I was a bit concerned but it never let me down even after being on for over 3 hours.

They do sound a bit spesh though!
