Is he a Portugese Water Spaniel? Looks like one with the curly hair on top of his head. Lovely dog by the way!

Cheers mate, he's a German Longhaired Pointer, they seem to have different looks but this chap'll be like a cross of setter and spaniel sort of thing.

My Alfie. Got me through some hard times this little lad. Intelligent, full of character, loyal and  tuned into how I was feeling. Unfortunately I can't have pets where I live so he lives with the ex-wife. I have sneaked him over for the odd weekend though

Thanks mate. I do miss the little bugger though and only see him when I pick up my son. We can't let him near my car otherwise he jumps in and we can't get him out. I'm pretty sure I know where his loyalties lie

Easier said than done mate. He's still only 8 so I'll see what the future brings.
