Looks like Extreme are doing a Pornograffiti tour this year - Glasgow (5th July), Birmingham (7th July) and London (8th July) in the UK.

They also seem to have a date booked with Aerosmith and Alter Bridge, which seems to be punching above their weight a bit in terms of presence. Good on 'em.

Seriously tempted by the meet & greet...much as I usually hate that sort of thing, I'm actually considering taking my N4 along for Nuno to sign it...

  • Am I out of touch with pricing here, the Academy in Manchester, one person £73! ...nothing cheaper?
I went to see Thunder there a couple of years ago for 15 quid (I think?).

Love Extreme, but I could get a used foot pedal for that
    :(

See above - those are the enhanced packages only. I'd imagine that normal tickets will be about £30.

I can't find details? I'd be well up for that - love the mighty 'Smith and Alter Bridge are decent too - the only thing I can find which includes those on the bill is Download and afaik Extreme haven't been announced for that...
    All practice and no theory

  • This thread is relevant to my interests. Think I might be driving to Manchester by myself as I am unlikely to find another human in North Wales who wants to hear Decadence Dance one more time.
I'm just a Maserati in a world of Kias.

I was investigating Extreme the other day as YT recommended me a live video of them playing Get The Funk Out which impressed me.

Never really liked the album probably due to the production, but always been a fan of Nuno's playing.

Anyone wanting to recommend me some more live vids?

  • I always thought the production on pornografitti was about as good as it gets. Rarely do you get that much energy from a studio album. You usually have to wait for the live stuff.

    Also, from the same show:

    Not Extreme, but it's Nuno.

Saw them do this at the Marquee club back in 1992? Must find my ticket stub - think it was £8.50 to get in.

  • I'll most likely be going to the Manchester date wit the other half. Missed out on seeing them on the Saudades tour because I was a poor student at the time and Opeth were playing the week before.
