Is anyone using something like jamup pro in a live situation?

If so how are you controlling patches? Seriously thinking of using it in a duo situation.

There's a really good series of posts on Basschat (stay with me) from a pro bass player who uses an ipad-based rig for his bands.

iirc there are some posts on there about bluetooth footswitches for changing patches. 

Jamup and BIAS are great on ipad imo

Struggling to get how you plug it all in, I got a sonic port but cant see how to use that and still be able to control a footswitch via midi.
