I know TGP probably have an exhaustive thread, but how is everyone getting on with it? Any recommended settings?

I'm currently trying to find a setting which works for at least 3 of the effects on the pedal so I can use it reliably live...

I find a useful setting on pretty much every engine apart from the two filters and bit crush (need a bit more time with these). I never use the Dirt setting either...only use it on Clean.

For a nice swirly flange (ooh er missus) -

    Ctrl 1: 9.30am
    Ctrl 2: 3pm
    Tone: 3pm
    Ctrl 0: 10am
    Vol: Noon
    Mix: 3pm

I did have good settings for Delay, Pitch, Verb and Ring Mod but need to write them down. Will contribute more to this when I have done so. But yeah I fucking love my BitQuest.

  • I can get a nice Ring Mod setting and using the same settings get an (almost) useable glitch delay:

    1: 5:30
    2: 10
    0: 10

I keep tone at noon at all times and adjust volume and mix to taste.

You can get so much from this pedal, its so good. Best implementation of the SPIN FV-1 chip in my opinion. I kinda wish the knobs weren't so sensitive though - literally a fraction of a change will net you quite a large difference in sound

Yeah, especially on the more common modulation engines. It's easy to get a fast chaotic flange or delay speed but to make it real slow and liquidy you got to be very careful.

  • I've mostly leave mine set up on the ring mod to give a nice vibrato sound, I'll dig out all my settings later and paste them up here.

Now THIS is going to be a useful thread. Will chip in some settings at a later date.

  • Oh man the dirty verb on these things is something to behold. Gives my RM-1n a run for its money. Gain at 11ish means you can trigger distortion with just harsh playing, but keep it clean otherwise. Transcendental.
