# Price

Prices are approximated as GBP to my currency ratio is changing all the time

I listed prices as if I had to pay for money exchange

- I am mostly interested in getting Polish Zloty (PLN), 

especially on paypal as I can withdraw only PLN (I have to use paypal to exchange GBP to PLN)

- in case of wire transfer, there is almost no spread in online exchange services so I accept GBP/EUR directly

- paypal prices have all fees included

Gear can be bought/tested locally.

Sometimes (not often though) my buddy goes to UK so in theory it might be possible to get such amp to UK.

Probably also it might be sent by bus instead of some global courier company, though not sure about that.

# Year of production

Unfortunately I don't know when these amps were built, Diezel serials numbers are not mapped easily to year AFAIK.

- American Tele, rather for brutals. I think teles are quite expensive atm, I once saw 60th/fat USA for < 520gbp so its hard to beat that now.

## Diezel Herbert MKI 180W amp + flight case

it is PCB 1.8 MK I version.

Tubes: previous owner told me that he bought all of them from Diezel and they were not used that much, I swapped v4 though.

State:

Tubes make quiet "pop" sound when warming up, but it's not noise which is amplified, anyway most of my amps do the same, especially when turned off.

Visually looks quite ok.

Rear panel screws might be missing, I always loose them.

Tolex has some "scratches", but overall looks good, IMO.

Sound:

- the most broad freq imo, deep lows (though it can be picky about cabs)

- compressed feeling (VH4 is compressed, but feels dry when you play it)

- probably the most flat freq (lows-mids-highs)

- imho the most modern/metal sounding

- ch3 compressed, rather for leads

- quite "clear" clean ch1

- overall I really like modern character of distortion, awesome,

but I dont feel this amp as much as the others due to flat freq I suspect

Tubes: Not sure about tubes life, as I didn't buy them.

State:

Amp was serviced by previous owner at Diezel:

2007 changed atmel AT89S8253

15.06 2010 tubes, 0,25 at fuse, rebias, numer 010191-01rep

22.06 2010 mainboard bestuckt, 2500W rectifier, 2508W rectifier, rebiasing, 010191-02REP

6.09 2010, 50+50uF 500V 010191-03REP

7.09 2019 50+50uF 010191-03REP

+ change of fuses

Works ok, it has some scratches on panels(see photos), scratch on black front panel/grill (upper-left-corner), some scratches on tolex on the side, overall it looks ok.

I dont have all screws for black panel - only 2 of them, though they are holding it properly.

power bulb is flicking a little, but amps works ok.

Sound:

- probably the most natural-modern sounding, quite tight, quite selective/good presence

- ch3: compressed yet dry/stiff but not open

compressed because it sounds compressed (has a lot of low mids etc, smooth highs), it is compressed (articulation),

dry/stiff because it is not so smooth/warm/nasal as Einstein - bass/treble is tighter/edgier,

not raw as it does not sound "open"/growly as Einstein, it more modern/edgy/cutting thing going on

- ch2: personally I like this one, lows/mids are not so crunchy/cutting as in ch3, but has less compression and more open sound which I like

- vh4 rather for solo - very compressed

- ch1 - oldschool clean

- my 2nd favorite after Einstein, though I don't see the reason to keep them both as I like Einy a bit better
