Looks like an epiphone dot with a doctored headstock. Definitely fishy.

What a strange one. 335s don't have bound f-holes, do they? The f-holes are quite slim and elegant, ones on Epi Dots for instance tend to be rather wide. He avoided photographing the scarf joint but gave us a close-up of the bridge studs - D'oh!

That is so bad, all the screws on the truss rod cover aren't even lined up and the whole thing is pretty bad even for a knock off.

I just couldn't resist messaging the seller. Apparently he has a receipt for it and it is much better than his new Les Paul. Well that's all OK then!

fuck i'm glad you guys are here…not that I'm interested in this guitar, but if I ever want to get a Gibson on ebay, i'll run it by here first…i can't even tell if there is anything wrong with this, apart from the misaligned screws…but had to look really hard for that as well!

Apart from all the ropey-looking things that are difficult to explain like the shape of the headstock, the dead giveaway for me are the bridge studs. If they have slot heads instead of solid shafts and thumbwheels then the guitar was made in the far east. They could probably get this right without too much effort but they never seem to bother.
