I love the clean tones on this thing possibly even more than those on my DRRI and it has a fantastic gain channel as well, hugely versatile. The range of tones I can get from this amp is amazing, and they're all stunning. The spring reverb is the best I've heard and the buffered effects loop takes delays, mods and reverbs beautifully.

For £200 less than the current best online price (basically the price it was before the value of the £ dropped), I now own a Rectoverb 25W combo. Genuinely love the bones of this amp.

  • @timmysoft ;Thank you! It is a magnificent amp.

I thought it was going to replace the Deluxe Reverb, though, until I played stereo delays and reverbs into both of them.

I'm still mopping the drool from the floor.

As long as it's the liberal metropolitan elite, then I'm comfortable with that :)

Looks awesome. I tried one out in guitar village a couple of weeks ago.

The tumnus is awfully close to your timeline though!

I know! I'll have find some way of fitting the power supply comfortably underneath that board, or use the Diago.

@BintyTwanger77 I had a similar problem when I wanted to add another pedal to my tiny board - two chair leg covers and a few drops of superglue and voila! Your power supply should fit no problem.

Velcro and a cable tie just to be sure!

Excellent choice, you are gonna have some fun with that. I've got the Mini Rec head which is basically the same thing but without the excellent reverb. I really do think these are superb do it all amps. One of my fav settings is pushed clean, max gain, 10w, and volume up as much as you can.

  • I've sorted out the problem with my Dr Scientist The Elements (shop swapped it for one with switches that didn't make exploding sounds), now have the guitar running through the Tumnus and Elements into the front of the Rectoverb and the Timeline and H9 in the loop.

The Tumnus is superb as a boost and for goosing the dirt channel (both modes) and the Elements EQ adds so much versatility to what the amp already has.

    Such a fantastic amp.

Blimey - just atched this vid - sounds fantastic - reminds me why I really like @Jalapeno 's Mini Rec head

    Red ones are better.

Sounds great. The cleans can get really punchy. Love the pushed mode on the clean channel.

  • This amp continues to be fantastic. I thought I'd try running the Fairfield Accountant into the clean channel, and good God it sounds even better.
