Marshall style strap handle - Where does the t-nut go?

I have a Marshall style strap handle to install and was wondering where the t-nut goes; in the two outer holes, or the inner ones?

If anyone has one they can look at I'd be grateful ;-)

It's the inner holes. Then a standard screw in the outer.
