Btw- Don't stop playing guitar in the house. get the wee one used to noise. She'll sleep better if she doesn't startle at the slightest thing.

I'm sure your new daughter will have the beautiful curves of a Strat and sing just as sweetly - but just don't expect her to be noiseless when you pick-up her - for baby's, that's just a bridge too far and you could be saddled with some sleepless nights 'cos there's no volume control on this model! And as she gets older she will string you along but you'll have to gauge that as it comes, and remember -  there may come a time in the future when you have to set the tone and ground her!!
