Fly rig?

Got a gig I have to fly to next month and no chance of renting an amp as it's a 30 min support slot.
I have a Tech 21 blonde, should I just use that or any other ideas of similar things? I'd like XLR out for the tech guys to make their lives easier and the Tech 21 doesn't have that.
Ive seen a Palmer Pocket amp, anyone tried one?
The Amplifire Box coming out looks ideal but don't think it'll be out in time.
Cheers

I had one and didn't rate it as much as the Blonde, it still also doesn't have XLR out.

  • You could do worse than using a Zoom G3. I have one I used for a backup rig and was amazed at how well it worked.

Any decent venue/ engineer will have a stage box you can plug it in to and then they run xlr from the stage
    Red ones are better.

Ie a Di box with an unbalanced input
    Red ones are better.

Yeah I know they'll have a DI box, I'm just trying to make it as easy as possible for them as I know what it's like on these type of gigs. I might just end up using the Blonde though.
