Good episode, but it strikes me as odd that the gang do seem very bad at avoiding being snuck up on recently. Admittedly we don't know anything much about the Saviours yet but the way Darryl and Rosita got ambushed seems unlikely for a badass bushman and an ex-military type on a sneak mission?

No doubt it serves a plot purpose and all will be revealed next week.

Not my favourite episode or season to be fair. It's dropped off in quality a lot since the first few seasons IMO.

Using an ending like they did is pretty weak writing, cliffhanger has Darryl been killed-we all know he hasn't. Like we all knew Glenn would somehow make it out alive. The reason I like WD and Game of Thrones is that no character is off limits to get killed, with WD you feel that's changed, they've not developed any new characters that the audience likes or engages with for a while now-who cared when the Dr died last week, or when Ricks woman got killed with her kids? No one. Who's the last one that got killed that you were shocked/gutted by? Whereas the first seasons saw new guys come in and some of the favourites get killed off. Pretty sure that Darryl, Glenn, Carole and Rick are untouchable. Which is a shame.

My guess is that He shot Daryl in the arm so that he'd be wounded but alive. We can hear "You'll live" just after the screen goes black.
I haven't read graphic novels neither I watch "Talking dead" so it's just a guess.

If you leave the episode play you will hear "don't worry,you'll be alright" being said. Daryl was shot, in the right shoulder, not in the head.

All leading up to who gets hit for a home run next week.
