Ibanez Jem 555 FS **now SOLD**

Jem Jr FS for £300, not looking for trades - it's a nice playing guitar, has the DiMarzio Evolution pickups, half-vine inlay etc. I got this one as part of a deal ages ago -  I had another Jem Jr years ago which sounded and played amazingly, and always regretted selling it. Sadly this one never ended up feeling the same. 

Pros - it's a really nice guitar, sounds good, decent price (I think !). 
Cons - it has that shitty 'Steve Vai' inlay on the fingerboard, and the trem is (as is widely known with these) not the best. It works ok, it's just not marvellous, but stays in tune well enough. Guitar body has the usual signs of wear, nothing major though. 
Any potential buyer should be aware that the frets may need dressing at some point before too long - they're a bit worn. I was going to sell this off a while ago, but after taking it in for a checkover was advised of this. It plays absolutely fine at the moment though. As per my intentions when I was previously going to sell this, some of the proceeds will be going to charity. 

I may have a spare hard case for this, but I'm buggered if I can remember what's in the garage or what state it's in. Would prefer any buyer to collect from the Gloucestershire area if poss.

Good necks on these - a set of Evos is worth a few quid too.

Trem is serviceable, but can be replaced with a Gotoh/Floyd etc (from memory) if it bothered you.

Vai had/has a gigging Jem with a 555 neck - they are good!

ta It's definitely a nice guitar, just doesn't feel the same as my old one and I don't have room for it with all the others.
