It was spitting in Eastcote at 8 am as I walked to the station. 8.02 am whilst awaiting the tube it become a waterfall but dry two stops later.

I'm now sat at Hanger Lane with a window that has been whistling for the last 2 hours

My Mrs works at the RSPB headquarters at Sandy, and they've just been told to go home. They've closed all the reserves in the region too.

Drenched on the way to the station this morning (Hants) - very blowy (got hit by a twig) but dry in Central London.

Speed restrictions on the train home until at least 3, apparently. Good thing I won't be done with work till at least 7...
