Dan Armstrong bass

I originally put this in the bass section but there isn't too much traffic there. Hope it's OK to put it here too.  If not mods please feel free to delete etc.

I have recently reacquired my old Dan Armstrong bass, which I recall from a conversation with Dan many years ago is from around 1973. It isn't in great shape, the pickup isn't right, it really needs rewiring, there are a few knocks to the body and a numpty has drilled a small hole in the back of the neck near the top of the truss rod. It is however solid and as far as I can tell straight.

I simply don't want it and would like to know if anyone would be interested in it and a realistic kind of value for it.

I can try to take some pics on my iPad and email them if anyone is interested.

I'd rather not have to try and take it back to France with me, I can bring it up to Brum on Saturday if anyone fancies a look.

I thought this would be a better place to as rather than clutter the classifieds with such vaguary.
