I've been wearing Clarks for decades. They're the only shoes I can wear all day and not want to cut my feet off by the evening.

    Check out Redwing Ironrangers.
    Supremely comfortable and hard wearing.
And only 3 times more expensive than Clarks :)

  • People buy shoes for reasons other than comfort? Who knew?

Doubt I'd go hi tops with Clarks, not when I've got my Vans.

I wear DM industrials to the office because they last 2-3 years daily use and my off duty shoes are Clark bought in the sales.  Comfy wins every time. The fact that they look decent helps.

  • I had a pair of clarks as my less posh set of smart work shoes. They were fucked inside a year. The others (russell & bromley italian-made something) cost twice as much but are still going 4 years on and are good enough to be worth re-soling when they need it.

Those looks great! Definitely on the list for when my current boots wear out.

I buy Hush Puppies.  Nothing against Clarks, I've often bought them in the past but I got one particular pair which were very uncomfortable - took the skin off the back of my heels - and I haven't bought them since.

I've been a lover of the 60's Clark's Originals for a long time now. Wallabees and desert boots mostly.

Have to confess im a convert. The last few Dm Chelsea safety boots I bought for work were really badly made.
I have a black pair of Clark's Chelsea boots I bought last January for £30 and they are still going strong.
I would love to buy some bespoke shoes at some point and just get those resoled as and when.
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

Same. That's the Johnny Marr influence on me again (although his desert boots were Birkenstocks).

When I was about 10, it was all about Clarks Commandos.

I have a couple of pairs of Clark's boots, they're ok, nothing ground-breaking.  Get 'em in the end of season sale and they're a bloody bargain!

The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn were Bertie - man alive I though angels were massaging my feet as I strolled down the street!

They weren't much good for pushing a 1972 Plymouth Duster after it ran out of fuel though, no traction at all from the leather soles, I reckon the Clark's would have been a much better item of footwear for that job.

    Bit of trading feedback here.

Desert treks! I have a black pair but I might get a  brown pair  to mix it up.

I always wear Clarks - they do half sizes and modern styles. Very comfortable shoes as well.
