Danny Gatton

What's Hot
Any recommendations on albums to try?  Getting into country via rockabilly and seen a few clips, would like to give Danny Gatton a serious listen!  I have an hours commute each way so like to give new stuff a listen.

88 Elmira Street and Cruisin' Deuces are the easiest to get hold of and are a great introduction to his playing. I also like 'In Concert 9/9/94' and 'Relentless' with Joey DeFrancesco. If you want Rockabilly playing try 'The Humbler' or for straight up jazz try 'New York Stories' but best of luck finding a copy of that one.
He's not someone I listen to a great deal these days His playing is pretty full on and it's a bit like being beat with a baseball bat. That said he is staggeringly good.
