So this arrived today

and the board it's going onto is getting closer - just need the wah back from a mate and the thorpy veteran to turn up and I can wire it up.

Yes - when I saw he was doing some alternative colours I asked him about a gold one.    
I suspect different colours will start to be come less exclusive in the future but for now it's nice to have one that's a little different and I've fancied one in that finish since I saw yours. I feel pretty fortunate to have managed to get one.
