Gibson Epiphone

Does it annoy anybody else when you see "Gibson Epiphone 335" in an ad title? If it's an Epi then it's an Epi. If it doesn't say Gibson on the headstock then it's not a Gibson, is it?

Yes, Epi is owned by Gibson but that's like advertising your Fiat Punto as a Ferrari.

P.S. I would like to buy a GIBSON 335, so if you have one lying about then please msg me.

I'm not sure Ferrari own Fiat in quite the same way (working for a company that used to be under the same group) but yes it is an annoying thing. But in the world of Google key word searching people will add anything in to get more hits. I see loads on Gumtree or eBay that will say "NOT a fender stratocaster"

Just about to post the same. I had an Epi Sheraton with Gibson on the truss rod cover, but I notice newer ones have the E logo.

It's the Fiat group that owns Ferrari, so sort of backwards I suppose.

That's just a Q5 / Tiguan. A mate of mine whose minted (on paper at least, through his company) his trophy wife has just changed her Q5 for a Macan for the school run as it's "better". Im still laughing.

I think it's just semantics really. If I want to advertise my guitar as a 'Terry Morgan Gibson Les Paul', I can't see that it's anyone's business but mine....

About fifteen hundred pounds or about eight hundred pounds, depending on whether you mean what the headstock repair costs you or what you can sell it for afterwards.
