How long to grow a beard?

It seems that (based on a lunch time google) the art of beard growing is defined by shaving the beard-neck line. Exciting times indeed.

apparently beards are now very much the in thing in the hipster community.

I have no idea what a hipster is, but it sounds like a not good thing.

I usually have a beard. In December I let it grow all month, so it got quite big. When me and my g/f were out walking her dog a hipster with a beard came up and commented on how nice the dog was.

He then said to me: 'hey mate, beard family!', and initiated a fist bump. Out of courtesy I completed the fist bump and said 'yeah, cool mate'.

This happened in Chorlton, so won't surprise any Mancunians...

Just cut some pubs off and stick them on your face, it will be enough to convince even the most hagged folky that your beard is a true birds nest. Add a few cornflakes and a few bits of egg and sleep with a mothball sellotaped to your chin for that realistic smell.

The best ppart is, once the gig is over, you can wash it off and don't have hours of painful shaving, also if any decent minge comes to the gig, you can wash it off and pretend you got dropped off and abandoned on your stag night.
