thanks for coming back to update sophie. i've only been here a month so before my time, but a good story & your determination & persistence to get it exactly right for your beau is the measure of how much you care. he's a lucky guy twice, the girl & the guitar. a happy ending is cool.

Lovely how much effort you put into this and how much you learned too! My wife can't even tell the difference between my guitars even if they are different colours.

I think I somehow missed the thread, so I was quite shocked when I first saw the headstock. But I've got to say that is a very cool looking guitar! Well done, you, and lucky him!
