I really like them.  Homage to the tele, but totally different - it's like a hot rodded sports car.

I like the reverse stock, for looks, and it means no string trees.

I played one of the first run of DBZ guitars and it was total firewood. Horrible heck profile covered in an inch of sticky poly, sharp frets and sounded dead as a door nail.

Different company so no, DBZ and Dean Zelinsky Private Label guitars are seperate companies.

I quite like the top two - those are guitars which just happen to bear a passing resemblance to a Tele body shape. I don't like tune-o-matics with strings through though.

The others with the pickguards are too much like wrong Teles.

Regarding the top three, DBZ have taken the advice of a well known expert and they are also going to be available with a cheap Tele bridge pickup whacked in to the neck pickup cavity.  Good times.
