Exactly the point - it's supposed to be a subtle change which just takes the edge off a bit. Of course, it's calibrated to my eyes with my monitor...

Inverted hasn't changed any embedded pictures for me that I've noticed but I just played an embedded YouTube clip and that went all freaky ass negative colours. 

Edit: typing this that picture reverted to normal colours but back to the blues when I posted. Weird

Set "dark" on Edge, but haven't noticed any difference yet.

Only inverted makes any difference on my telephone browser using full site. Nice though!

didn't see the difference between dark & faded, a similar  brilliance & contrast drop. but inverted i like. so relaxing for the eyes. like being dead but with something to read.

if it were possible to have inverted text & background (white text on black) but images normal I think that would be better than everything inverted.
though i like (prefer even) inverted to read, i can see will inevitably end up having to swap back constantly to be able to view pics&vids.

Yep inverted theme inverts everything from photos to video. On Firefox anyway.

Yep, I like the inverted theme but Youtube videos look inverted too, MacOS Sierra Safari v10.0.3
