Yeah. Just clocked this! That's a lot of tones in one pedal especially with the switchable stacking.

The demo guy makes me laugh: such a nerdy scientist type. Refreshing not to have a salesman type though, I guess. I presume he's actually involved in development.

Really liking some of stacked sounds, particularly. And parallel too! Wow... Need this!  Shame I just splashed out on a Keeley Phat Mod today!

  • It sounds way better than the Riverside.

Many sounds to be had in this. So far so good. More demos I need to be convinced personally though :)

I really did, but when I tried using it at bigger volumes and AB'd it against my other drives, the Riverside was just not as good. I just had an attack of the GAS because it seemed like a great compact do-everything, versatile drive pedal (the favourite switch, etc.) and I think I convinced myself that I liked it.

I see that Strymon are now doing with overdrives what they previously did with delays. Love their pedals but they have nailed the business model - take the same hardware and software, tweak it and release it as a new product.

With TC pedals you can download a toneprint, with Strymon you can buy a new pedal :)

Blimey Rabea's lost some weight. Probably starved himself to save up for that pedal ;)

That does sound good - we can pretend the Riverside never happened :-)
    Red ones are better.

I prefer the Riverside as I don't need high gain tones ...

I think there is an optimum skill level beyond which the reviewer ceases to create demand for the product, I'm just left feeling jealous of how well they play.

I can't help feeling Strymon will bring out an OD/Distortion pedal with midi etc soon. Like their timeline, möbius, big sky etc

I wish they'd just get in with it and make an FX8 style multi floorboard. Let's face it, it would be priced high enough not to impact on the individual effects boxes.
