    I do really find it baffling that no other company can make something so simple that's even close to as good. The same applies to open-frame 1/4" jacks. It's hardly rocket science.

    thanks guys  going to use the existing one I think which is fine and is a switchcraft.


    one other question -  for the wiring from the switch to the pickups/ground/jack  -  am i best using single, 2,3 4 core shielded wire?
    or does it not matter?

    The modern way is to use 3 core shielded, or old school is 3x lengths of shielded cloth wire...
