An LED Telecaster has been on my list for some time. It would have to flash with the beat, else it could be difficult to play in time. Which means triggering from the guitar signal rather than an external source. Sorry @Sporky, but it could run sequences with oscillators, and without needing DMX. I've been looking at spectrum analysis, with colours for different frequency ranges, or maybe triggering from a piezo in the saddle of each string.
