I don't know what a "discounted price" would be, but they do a price match should you find it anywhere else cheaper.

If you're buying new then the price is normally the price. If it's too high then don't buy.
You could ask them for a discount. They might throw in some extras like strings etc. but a Fender Telecaster is a desirable guitar & there's demand for them.

I'm guessing the OP was wondering if the shops would be doing a deal on the "old model", a bit like cars, etc.
Whilst not obsolete they are going to be considered old stock by most people......
