'93 Fender CS Danny Gatton tele ... Withdrawn

Hi all,
selling my 1993 Gatton tele. Beautiful butterscotch with a big big neck. Joe barden pickups. Incredibly versatile instrument.
The finish has been removed from the back of the neck and treated with wax a la Musicman, feels incredible!
Non original tweed case and COA included. 
Frets are kind of semi stoned (See pics) and feel great. Might not be everyones cup of tea but I will reflect that in the price...

I am absolutely in no way doubting it's provenance, but I thought the Gatton models had zirconium side dots? I will of course be happy to be corrected and am in no way trolling your FS thread.  If that's OK. Sorry.

Hi @Richardj, not at all.. a fellow member has messaged me with some observations also... I bought this last year in Belfast. The guy I got it from bought it from his best mate who bought it new (he's a pro on the scene in Belfast so any local guys here prob know this guitar). The neck lacquer had cracked (as seen in the tuner pictures) so he removed all the lacquer and presumably got the dots replaced at the same time. I've pulled the neck nd it's. Herb Gastellum. I'll photo neck and body tomorrow and put the pics up.
The input barrel has been replaced by a plate and they're not the original knobs. Some of the original Gattons had the switch bent in the factory by Danny... whether this was one and it's been replaced or he never touchéd it I don't know. I'll photo the switch too.

Somebody pointed out that the CoA is signed by Eldred but he didn't sign them til much later.... does this point to a replacement? I don't know to be honest... As I said, I'll pull the neck and body and photo them too..
