    I ask as I'm a noob to playing drums having purchased a small Roland kit a couple of months ago.

    Brilliant! I don't play drums, but bought a practice pad a while back and used it to practice tricky rhythms for guitar. Very helpful. Sadly, I don't seem to play much these days (guitar or drums) but I'd love a kit. I had a bash on my friend's (who's just gone to Miami to rehearse to play on a cruise ship...) and it was great fun.

    On a side note, despite not featuring God (John Fru), I love this album. Walkabout is a great song, as is Aeroplane. And I love the one that sounds like it has a baby crying in it, too :)

    I've been a noob at drums and guitar for about 18 years. I haven't had drums at home until a couple of years ago, though, so that's probably a better indication.

    It is my favourite RHCP album. They all struggled with addiction at the time which is why it took a bit over 2 years to record it. Probably one of Rick Rubin's best.
