I wonder what happened to he rest of the ES-175 donor?

I have a suspicion that this may be something to do with my Uncle's friend who had an 79 Es-175 that was used as a weapon. A burglar broke into his house while he was sleeping and it was the closest thing the body completely collapsed and so did the burglar.

I'll have to ask him what he did with it.

Those bodies don't look too bad, simple clean lines. On the other hand the headstock (which looks fine on classic Gibson bodies) simply looks awful and out of place. Looks like some someone's bodged two different guitars together in their shed

The top horn reminds me of the Duesenberg double cat, but also has quite a hint of Giffin standard in it.

Looks OK to me, better than a lot of their other efforts. I do like that proto sort-of-doublecut LP posted above too.
