Friedman and Suhr Cabinet

Just a heads up for any Smallbox owners out there.

I've been looking for a nice 2 x 12" to use and think this Suhr makes a darn good match.  This is the cabinet look that Firedman 'should' have done themselves IMO.  The tolex, piping, handle even are an exact match and the grille has the Classic Rock vibe.  Open backed to and you can get them 'unloaded'.  It's a fairly tall/shallow  2 x 12" but the amp feels really stable on top of it.

    It will probably come as no surprise that I love the Suhr cabs. The 1x12 sounds immense, the Hedgehog cab is a lovely match for the amp and the 2x12 is again, wonderful.

    And that's irrespective of how they look!! :-)

    I like the fact they are a few inches taller than the norm 'tall' 2 x 12" so get the amps controls at a better height.

    They are also fairly shallow which makes them easier to carry.  It has similar dimension to Marshalls old 2045 cabinet actually.
