Struggling to embed Pic's from Flickr, anyways, hopefully here is a picture of mine. First Telecaster I've owned, so far I like...

Haha! My partscaster thing had one of those Gotoh-Wilkinson swivelly-saddle bridges on to begin with. It's a good idea - my E/A saddle was always at a quite extreme angle too. Boredom and time led me to put a set of Glendale Rutters compensated saddles on, with an aluminium E/A, which look very neat, but I don't remember being struck by an audible difference (I'd like to try steel saddles at some point - if anyone would like to try brass saddles with an aluminium E/A, that might be something we could do in the future.)

I'd like to try a compensated aluminium E/A, but haven't seen any online that will go with my existing set..

Fairly modded Baja. BKP Flat50 bridge pup, Mule neck (got an Oil City Mighty 90 on the way to try in there), standard 3-way wiring. After an accident I stripped the poly off and it got an oil and wax finish.

I'm not sure the next two qualify as Teles, more Telish

WezV Statele. Strat/Tele hybid. Cut down Fender ashtray bridge. Early BKP Flat50 bridge (now called a Flat52), Irish Tour neck and middle. Wiring is B/B+N/M/M+N/N to get all my favourite strat and tele tones in one.

TeleMaster parts-o-caster. Away with Wez at the moment getting a new body as the original creates it's own gravity. The only original parts on the guitar after this will be the strap buttons and the string ferrules ;) Classic 50's strat neck, TV Jones bridge and Powertron Plus pickup. Funky Esquire wiring.

Had been trying to avoid thinking about black for my Telemaster.

    Bugger.

Similar to mine, but I have bridge bypassing tone and volume in first position. That way you have a noticeable jump in volume when going back to that position.

With an amp set up like that, I hope you live a long way away from anyone else, or do you just have very understanding neighbours? :D

    Very understanding neighbours (so far!).
I also don't take the mick with the times I play at and have worked out the volumes the amps can be at without being heard across the street..

  • Reminds me of my old MIJ 62 reissue, I put Brass saddles on mine.

Always think a bound tele looks classy !

Agreed, although I think the double bound CS '60's models in white with white binding look 'not quite'.
