Right I am off to the docks a la Baldrick, should only take 10 years.

Like the old joke I made £5000.05p at the docks, they ask who gave the 5p, I say they all did.

Love Yammie SG's but that is oozing history and iconic songs.

A nice ex Stuart Adamson one too would just make my life.

Nice try. But your never played or wrote music for Magazine or the Banshees, so I'll pass.

Of course if that were to change I might consider it...

I sat next to Budgie and Susie Sioux on Eurostar all the way back from Belgium in 2000...she had a green coat to the floor with big lapels and a red furry hat... they read all the way... I could write that on a bit of paper for you...?

The singer and 'tub thumper' have no bearing on your guitars...

I'm a bit too cyncical for these things.

Ever so easy to fake the 'distinctive' marks and hoax up some provenance.

Apart from that, I have this:

I'd have another Yamaha SG1000 in a heartbeat, but for their weight. My old one always turned heads and sounded as big as any Les Paul, and played so well

I'll find me one one day and I agree they do play as well, if not better than a Les Paul.

I've just noticed there's an 'S' version for 'slim' that is supposed to be lighter... is it?

The 'S' monika on a Yamaha SG denotes coil taps or 'Splits'
