While reading a Premiere Guitar article linked to from elsewhere on FB I came across this...

..it's a blog written by Will Ray (of Hellecasters fame) documenting his eBay/fleamarket/whatever habit and the guitars he's picked up for silly low prices (hence the Bottom Feeder tag).

Makes for interesting reading, particularly the $81 Epiphone and the $15 Chinese Strat copy... :-)

Yes I registered for free on premier guitar site,they send you email and can access bottom feeder article and other reviews, ALL FREE . Just a shame you can't get as cheap deals on this side of the pond ! Must be heaven searching and buying all these guitars in the name of 'work' and I am sure he can sneak a few more in to the spare room/attic/basement etc :-)

Reminded me of one of Mick Ralph's stories about spotting a 58 Junior in a pawn shop in the States while touring with Mott the Hoople:

'How much is that red guitar in the window.'

'100 bucks'

'How much?'

'OK, 75 bucks.'
