"Moral Tribes" -- brilliant book.  It's an examination of why it is that people don't form opinions based upon the best scientific evidence but rather choose to go with the narrative which fits their world view.

I'm fascinated by the reasons why people believe things which don't make rational sense -- this book is worth reading if you're into that too.

    Mogworld - By Yahtzee Crowshaw.

Bought it because I enjoy his games reviews. It is somewhat derivative of Terry Pratchet, but entertaining enough.

The Gallows Curse by Karen Maitland. Black Death era historical nonsense. It's rubbish but I've started so I'll finish.

New Stuart McBride next. Yay. :)

  • I just bought a Kobo to try and encourage me to read more, so I have started with some free books. I'm currently reading one called "Rock Deadly" by Kathryn Lively. It's about a guitarist in a Rush tribute band who finds himself in a bit of a predicament. It's not bad.

It's out already. Downloaded it to my kindle on Thursday. :) My only regret is its a sequel to Birthdays for the Dead rather than another Logan Macrae story.
