Best piece of kit I ever bought .. hands down.  I wasted over £10,000 in the 90s on different guitars and amps.  What I was looking for then was this!

I stopped taking an extra cab to gigs and stuck to a single (Hotrod Deluxe), placed on the floor right behind me.  You can see it in action with me here.

Not cheap, but the price should come down when these things catch on.  Everyone I've lent mine to bought one, except one friend, whose wife wouldn't let him!

    Any affiliation to the company?

Nope, though I've chatted with the inventor on Facebook and done my bit to spread the word about it at gigs.  For me it was a happy ending to a big leap of faith "gambling" £250 on a bit of plastic.  Wouldn't gig without one now, it saves the onstage volume battle when gigging without monitors.  Had mine just over a year now.

It looks a bit ridiculous tbh. I'd probably try a weber beam blocker or an amp stand instead if I could be arsed.

It is different to a beam blocker i think ...beam blockers do just that where as the Deeflexx stops the beam...plus spteads it around the room so everyone can hear it including the drummer

  • Instead of the sound shooting out past your ankles or waist, it spreads it so things sound the same wherever you stand.  Works a treat, and also kills the shrill beam that comes out from the centre of the speaker.  Amp stands don't work because they project the beam right into your ear, giving you the worst tone.  You also get an enhanced zone directly to the sides and above the Deeflexx.  To me it's the Holy Grail I was looking for since the early 90s.

Just joined the forum, presenting an amazing new development with a sig that promotes his guitar lessons? Spam.

Not so new, it's been around for a few years now.  And to reasssert, I have no connection with the company that makes them, other than having chatted with the inventor, but you could do that too, he gives his Facebook link in the webpage above.

As for my signature link, that's allowed here isn't it?

Aynsley uses these, and they're fantastic. +1 from me.

This is exactly my experience with them ...i only take a combo now ...the difference in sound is huge and lack of beaming saves everyones hearing...

Dont know about you but i find im using much less volume but coming through the mix better im guessing that its because the sound is spread better... definitly one of my best buys ...fairly expensive for what it is but worth every penny in my opinion
