How did you find the half rounds vs the flats? I like flats but the low E etc is a bit slow to speak.

@Winny_Pooh interesting way of putting it... I get what you mean! Through the amp I felt that the flats had a bit more thud and body than the halfs, but direct I actually prefer the tone of the halfs. Certainly very versatile, I've been gigging with them for a few months and your tone control essentially becomes a vintage/modern switch!

I find flats have a lot more variation amongst different manufacturers.

Used TI's for quite a while, and they were nice - but I find Chromes give a more defined sound and the E is tighter and more responsive
