    How about Oasis Live Forever? I just stumbled on the JustinGuitar.com tutorial.  Nice easy strumming part, haven't studied the solo yes but it seems to be minor pentatonic at the 12th fret.

    Im pretty sure I can drum along to that - and it must be easy to sing! Any other takers on guitar?

    excellent, I think @aord43 might like a go at the solo as well - we can run through the song twice or do two solos if needed.

    No I've got enough to do that day.
    If he wants to take the solo that's fine with me, I'm happy rhythm and vocals.

    What am I playing bass on so I know what to hurriedly look at a few days before, Er, I mean practice hard?

    @bridgehouse - Um, no one else has said they play bass, and I’d be happy to have a go, but will be busy drumming, so you can have as many as you like! I have an octave pedal that can be used by a Guitarist for any you don’t fancy.

    If Mark wants a break and its just basic root note stuff, I could play bass on a track or two if needed - but I'm *not* a bass player by any means...

    I'm not sure I'm "adding much value" here as it stands... just read through and the song list is getting pretty full of songs I might like to play on but there isn't room... certainly the opposite problem to the things I was in on the Leicester jam which is a positive!

    Now we are a few posts down here, I'm thinking I'd like to see an up-to-date song list with who is doing what, decide what to do? (Edit: this includes the option of gracefully standing down/staying home if things are getting crowded)
    We have to be so very careful, what we believe in...

    @darthed1981 ;

    I'm not organising this (which will prove to be a good thing), but I imagine that the more popular songs can be repeated multiple times so that everyone who wants to play on it gets to play on it.
    :)

    Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

    Thanks @TTony , I'll have a look when the list is next up, see what the crack is.

    @darthed1981 - I agree. Assuming the point is to learn something, surely one point of a Jam is to pick a few songs, get all those attending involved and then for those that want to, to 'play' the song while others move on to the next session (maybe the next version of he same song @TTony )
