Fender Princeton 1968 Silverface SOLD

I've seen an amp I'd quite like to go for so this little beaut needs to be sold first, (Got to keep 'The Management' happy).

What we have here is a genuine vintage amp.  A 1968 non reverb Princeton, sometimes refered to as the little twin as it stays clean pretty much all the way to flat out.   This makes it a great pedal platform.  The amp is all original except for the speaker, that is an Eminence Ragin Cajun (a popular swap).  It's the only 10 inch I've heard that gets close to a 12's authority.  I did make a new baffle for this amp to accomodate a Celestion Gold 12, so I can say that the Ragin Cajun gets mighty close to that 12's ooomph.  This is an American voltage amp and comes with a transformer.  I'll include the 12" baffle and the amp stand (made from recycled Sapele) in the sale.  You're welcome to come and try before you buy  £700

    That's a thing of beauty. My first proper amp was a mid 70s Princeton reverb that I've kicked myself about selling ever since... Just out of my 'useable range vs budget' calculation just now. Good luck with the sale.

    @BluesyDave What have you got your eye on now Dave? It's going to have to be something special to beat the Princeton?

          @RandallFlagg ;;
    To be honest mate I keep changing my mind.  I'm looking at a Mesa, Musicman and even a Twin.  Bloody ridiculous I know.  If I get any one of them you'll hear me from your house.
    I saw you sold your Victory...Replacement?

    I did mate, you won't believe but I'm getting another Morgan PR12! Lost a few quid on this little escapade. The Victory was good but the clean sound was not as warm or as pleasing as the Morgan and the reverb paled in comparison. The trem was lovely though and the driven tones were good but as with the regular V40 I had previously it needed to be wound up pretty loud to sound at it's best. Too much for the house. I will miss the trem, I wish the Morgan had one built in. I can get a pedal but I prefer trem after reverb for that authentic 60s sound.

    Good luck with your search mate!
