  • Meh, I just like music.

Will listen to Taylor Swift and Nile on the same day... though probably not in the same part of the day as different music for different moods etc

I thought Westlife were the height of cool when I was 16 and took my (now) fiancée to see them just because I wanted to.

She knows that concert was all for me and still said yes to my proposal 15 years later

I still know pretty much every word to every song  :3

  • I am a rocker/metal head through and through, anything from Aerosmith to Nine Inch Nails with some Slipknot thrown in for good measure. This is one of the few guilty pleasure songs i enjoy listening to, love her voice.
Annie Lennox - Little Bird (no idea how to embed the video sorry so just added the link)

Really liked Spandau's early work but hated the later schmoozy nonsense, however this is still a great song.

I've been listening to Annie Lennox (and Eurhythmics) tunes constantly over the last couple of days as well. 'Precious' is a tuuuuune.

I'm quite partial to a bit of Adam And The Ants... although I'm happy to admit this is largely down to nostalgia rather than me defending any form of musical credibility they may have had.
@Dopesick agree with you on early Spandau.

[Spandau Ballet - Through The Barricades]
I loved the first album 'Journeys To Glory' and the associated singles/B-sides… but hated everything they did after that, they became a totally different band almost immediately.

I have to say I don't really like that song either.

"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski

    "Just because I don't care, doesn't mean I don't understand." - Homer Simpson

i'm into tons by the really early new romatic bands; visage, ultravox, japan, human league, and some of the darker electro-flavoured duran/spandau fits neatly there.
i'm postpunk and 80sgoth really, heart of hearts, but there's a lot of crossover with the early proto new romatic scene. less so the later soul boy schmoozy and funky things.

spandau 'cut a long story short' and duran 'planet earth' are calssic.

I like that stuff too, although I was and still am mostly a rock/metal guy (that said, I remember an early Duran Duran live review which said something like "apart from the hair and clothes, Andy Taylor could easily be a Tyger of Pan Tang").

I still like - and remember the words of - an awful lot of chart hits from the late 70s and 80s, I guess because I was still following the top 40 in those days.  90s onwards, I've totally lost track.

The questionnaire for those at the top of our society, be they entertainers, moguls or elected officials obviously runs...

    Are you?

    A: A tax avoider?
    B: A sexual predator?
    C: Both?
    D: Neither?

Answering D results in instant rejection of your application.
Answering C results in this message:

"Go directly to The White House."
    - "I'm going to write a very stiff letter. A VERY stiff letter. On cardboard."
