Black LP studio with P90s? let us know how you get on with it :)
"Working" software has only unobserved bugs. (Parroty Error: Pieces of Nine! Pieces of Nine!)
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself

Have you checked the p/ups on the 73 - might still be late 60's era grey bobbin 'vintage' models - looks nice

  • I will check them out once it lands

Will be interested to hear the output for your 73 Pups. on my 73 they are quite low output 5-6 ohm area.

This makes the guitar perfect for anything in that Clapton era music style and rhythm work and indie chimes without any help.

I am still looking for the optimum setup for raucous but I think I just have to accept that that is what it is. I have other guitars for other sounds and styles and this really is the way to behave!

The grey bobbin pick-ups of the later 60's and early 70's era are about the lowest output Fender have made, certainly in the 'vintage era' - but they have a tone that many like, partly due to the association with Hendrix and great Strat tones like Little Wing and The Wind Cries Mary

many barely hover above 5K - some even below - and few above 5.5K

'73 Strats are up to £3-£4k now depending on originality and condition. I have been offered £3.6K for mine...

    That's bananas
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Not from a dealer but probably as a private sale - but at that I'd expect it to be all original (take into account a re-fret and possibly now with a 5 way switch) - but no issues on the tuners or trem - good weight and the correct p/ups - so at £2800 I'd want a good example that plays well
