    job jobbed.
Even though you've totted up six guitars, it's great to know your ideal includes three Les Pauls. Top man.
    lol

3 Les Pauls, 2 Fender Teles, 1 Stratocaster and a partridge in a pear tree

I have three electrics.  My tele is number 1, then joint between my strat and es335-alike.  I haven't really played a jagua or jazzmaster and am feeling the temptation, so one of those could in theory replace the strat at some point.

    1) My Strat
    2) My Strat and my Blackmachine
    3) My Strat, my Blackmachine, my Flying V.

That's in order of usefulness, not preference... I love them all but out of those three, the Strat is probably the one I love the least

  • 1. Jazzmaster
     2. Jazzmaster and Electric XII
     3. Jazzmaster, Electric XII and Jaguar
I'm sure that will amuse a few people, but that really is my perfect holy trinity.

    This, but Teuffel Birdfishes.
    Brilliant idea. lol

I'd chuck a Tesla 7-string in there to keep things interesting though. I've never played any Teuffel stuff but I would love to try some. I bet they're amazing.

What kind of a question is this?

Strat, Tele, Les Paul of course.
Same for me, which is what I have now.

If I was forced to keep just one it would be the Tele.

    1) One in Open G
    2) One in Open G, one in DBbDFCA
    3) One in Open G, one in DBbDFCA and one in standard

Not so bothered about the guitars although a bridge humbucker or P90, and a vibrato are preferable

I'm going to cheat by providing bass guitar answers.
    1) P type with flatwound strings
    2) J type with roundwound strings
    3) Something fretless
Never played a fretless but totally agree on your first and second choices!
Bass would be easy for me.

    1 - Rickenbacker 4001
    2 - don't need two basses.

    1. Nice semi-acoustic - Ibanez AS, Yamaha SA, or actual 335 of course
    2. Archtop jazz type - my Ibanez JP20 would do nicely, maybe a Benedetto or something if money no object
    3. A modern strat type (red-silver-blue Lace Sensors maybe), or nice 22 fret HSH guitar (Anderson/Suhr or similar)

1 my Feline with it’s cool pickup switching which gives an awful lot (either coil, parallel or series) and Floyd

    2. That and my les Paul special with p90s

    3. The above plus a vintage strat
